It's been a quiet summer

It seems like the last few months have been the sleepiest summer I've had in ages. But that can't be true. Last year, with COVID restrictions in place to a greater extent than today, must have been just as slow. Perhaps it's just my state of mind that's different.

In any event, I did what might be the first scene or a prologue to my novel in progress to the Noe Valley Voice for their August literary issue, and they published it.

Here's the link to the issue. My excerpt, "On Shinbone Lane" is on page 11: http://www.noevalleyvoice.com/2021/August/index.html

Looking over at Bernal Hill many years ago.

Shinbone Lane is a fictional unpaved street in San Francisco's Noe Valley.
