Good news!

My memoir, Reversible Skirt, won a silver medal in the 2011 Readers Choice Book Awards in the nonfiction-autobiography category (It was named a finalist in July 2011 and final judging was just completed.)

Previous news: I signed books May 14 at a Meet and Greet at the Petaluma Copperfield’s from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. It went very well, and the store now has seven copies of Reversible Skirt on the shelf, so you can pick one up there if you’re in the neighborhood. I’ll be setting up more Meet and Greets at bookstores in the North Bay and posting the details here. Stay tuned.

The launch party for Reversible Skirt was a great success! And now North Light Books & Cafe, 550 E. Cotati Ave. in Cotati is selling the book. It’s on display on the counter right by the cash register. So if you’re in the area, you can get the book there. It’s also available online at Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble. com. Any bookstore can order it, too.

The launch party for Reversible Skirt is happening March 5, 2011, 2 p.m. at North Light Books & Cafe, 550 E. Cotati Ave. in Cotati.
